Neil was given a 4-year sentence and served 18 months. At home, he had two sons and accessed our service within 3 weeks of arriving in prison. His boys loved the first story and his eldest asked for them regularly. His enthusiasm for the project made him a perfect candidate to train as a Storybook Dads editor. When we moved our office into the community in 2025, Neil had already been released so he was taken on as a staff member. Read more
