When someone visits our website we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.

Newsletter Sign-up

As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by contacting us directly.

Storybook Dads App Users

When you download and register with the Storybook Dads app, your data is securely stored using the AWS (Amazon Web Services) servers. We only ask you for the basic information required to use the app; receive stories or send Families on Film files.

• Storybook Dads will approve your account once you have registered and if your account is inactive for 6 months (you haven't logged in and accessed our service), it will be removed and you will need to re-register.
• You can only receive stories via the app if you register the details of the person sending the story and what prison they are in. If they move to another prison, you will need to update your account to reflect this.
• Any stories we send will only be active for your to access for a period of 12 Months. After that time they will be deleted from our servers.
• If for any reason you would like to close and delete your account on our app, you can contact us and we will delete it.

Storybook Dads is committed to securing your data and keeping it confidential. Storybook Dads has done all in its power to prevent data theft, unauthorized access, and disclosure by implementing the latest technologies and software, which help us safeguard all the information we collect online.

Our Service allows you to receive stories of your loved-one via the service. Content is restricted to streaming only via our app. Any downloading, capturing or sharing the stories you receive can jeopardise our project.

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Storybook Dads.

Storybook Dads has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services.
