A research team from the Faculty of Medicine & Health Science, University of Nottingham, is conducting research into the psychological and social impacts of parental imprisonment.

They are seeking participants who meet the following criteria:

• Between 18 and 30 years, and experienced parental imprisonment during your childhood (before aged 18 years)
• Parent was convicted of a violent and/or sexual offence, serving more than one year in prison consecutively.

Why your participation is important:

Provide valuable insight into the experiences and impacts of having a parent in prison during childhood
Contribute to research that can inform professional services and support others in similar situations

How to take part:

Complete this short questionnaire focused on adverse childhood experiences, followed by writing a short story based on your own experience of parental imprisonment.
